Description

So, I guess a description is in order.

First species - Aloicus (plural is Aloi)
They're the ones with wings. They're covered in fur except for their tails, which are covered with bone-like plates and end in a sharp point. They have hooves on their feet and their fingers are covered in a sort of hoof-like material. (I'm still working out how they can bend. XD) Aloi are the most opulent and reckless of the three species. Their fur and markings come in just about any bright color, excluding white. Markings are more for decoration than anything else, 'cause Aloi are lazy butts and don't do much except eat and sleep and party. They have very efficient metabolisms, or they'd be unable to fly they'd be so fat. A typical Aloicus never sees him/herself as at fault, preferring to blame things on one of the other races. Their wings do not support long periods of flight. They're really just used to move between the closely-packed tree-like organisms that they make homes out of. Beak shape also varies depending on the region they're from, 'cause they eat just about anything birds eat. Wearing clothes is seen as stupid to them because they view clothes as covering one's natural "beauty". They're fine with wearing jewelry though. Honestly, they're very vain. The markings on their wings don't actually glow, they're just there. Their technology (which actually isn't that low quality considering their laziness) usually incorporates round objects and no sharp edges. And no weapons. They're too lazy to fight.
(Markings on this one are from Soloeun, my Aloicus. :3 Don't steal.)

Second species - Spirial (for plural just add an s)
Spirials are more land-based. They have four arms, and to move those four arms they need two sets of muscles, so thus the two torsos (and two hearts - just try to kill one. >:3). They are not covered in fur like the Aloi, instead just reeeeely teeny scales. They do have fur on their heads and the tips of their tails. Other than the fur in place of a spike their tails are the same as the Aloi. They have claws on their hands and feet, though decidedly larger on the feet. Their beaks are larger and have a second ridge inside that acts like teeth so they can chew stuff. They eat meat, by the way. Spirials are usually more dull colors, though once in a while you'll see a bright one. Their markings are plenty bright, however, so they can see their way around in the tunnel complexes they live in. Kinda like an anthill. They do not have issues with wearing clothes, since clothes protect you from stuff... the issue is more finding a shirt with four arms. Their technology usually involves crystals that they mine. The technology itself isn't very advanced, but they know more in the way of weapons than Aloi do.
(Markings are random stuff I made up.)

Third species - Viviera (not supposed to sound like Viera.)
Viviera don't often make contact with their two neighboring species, probably because they live in the water. They tend to live longer since there really aren't any predators for any of the three species, but the Vivieras have the added bonus of not being able to fall to their deaths or be buried in a collapsing tunnel. Vivieras tend to be light colored, though any hue you can think of. Their markings don't need to be bright, they just need to be there, so they usually have markings on their extremities if anywhere. They grow sets of fins around the area where their hips would be every ten years or so, so the one here is probably like five or something. They grow up fast. C: The oldest ones have like twenty fins on each side, but they're so tattered by then that they don't do much. Vivieras have the same type of tail as the other two species, but at the end they have fins. These also grow (exponentially, mind you, they grow fastest when they're young) as they age, so by 150 their fins are nearly half the size of the rest of their bodies. The feather-looking thing on their heads is more for decoration than function. If they need to swim faster for some reason they use their arms as well as their fins. They have gills on the sides of their necks, but also have lungs (which explains the rib cage). Clothes are obviously not something commonly worn, unless there's not a chance of getting back in the water anytime soon. They CAN move on land, kinda like a snake does, but it's not the easiest or fastest thing ever. They don't feel the need for weapons, so they just don't have them. They do, however, have all sorts of other random (and waterproof) technology. Their technology usually has a sort of aerodynamic-ness to it, though isn't usually circle-related like Aloi tech.
(Markings are, again, made up.)

So, yeah. Maybe I'll write something about how they have such humanoid anatomies sometime, 'cause there is a reason.
Oh yeah, and females of each species are pretty much the same, except they just look more feminine. Hips and boobs and whatnot. Plus, for Aloi they've got longer fur around their head, like people have hair, you know? Kinda the same for the Spirials, a bit. Kinda. And female Viviera get more of those decorative feather-looking things.
Also, the markings only glow for emotions. If one of them (this applies to all three species) was just neutral they wouldn't glow at all. The exception is the Spirials, who glow a little anyways so they can see in the dark. They just glow brighter for emotions.

I think I got it all. It only took me, what, 45 minutes? XD

Edit: Oh yeah, if you make a character of one of these species it'd be nice if you posted a link. C: I'd like to see it.
